What is organic farming?
It is an agricultural production system associated with a high level of biodiversity and specific environmental practices. This regulation imposes strict methods of production, processing, distribution, importation, control and labeling of biological products. In addition, this regulation requires European producers to place the logo of the European organic label on the packaging or labels of products from organic farming.
In accordance with the provisions of Article 42 of the EU Regulation, specifications define the production methods. This file takes into account the evolution of European regulations concerning animal husbandry.
